Insight from a few years back

In the fall of 2007 I went to an Art of Living Foundation part II course in Sedona, Arizona.  It was at the end of this course that I was told I should be working as a healer by a fellow participant.  The second day we went into silence.  That morning,  I was sitting on a rock looking at the beautiful desert stretching off to the left.  A cliff ahead of me – and off to the right.  A river down below me.  And a stream right next to me.

And I wrote this in my journal:  ‘Water will always flow downhill.  The path it takes is not always what you expect.’

I dusted my journal off last night as I was packing to go visit my family in California.  My grandfather Cassidy is at the end of his life.  I love him, and the grandson in me wants to see him again in his body before he dies.  I hope that happens.  But either way, I am grateful for all the gifts he gave the world.

I love you Granddad.

It will be good to start journaling again.  Will you join me in writing down y0ur thoughts, questions, and insights in your journal?

Peace,

Ken

I’m hoping for change from the present state I live in. When I read the passage about dropping sadness and removing blocks I thought this might be right for me. I have much sadness still since my ex divorced me. I also have some rebellion against the old standard that women were expected to meet. I can’t seem to get any satisfaction from any household chores due to this rebellion against my vision of woman as “slave”. I also keep attracting men who are financially needy and greedy who think they can control my income. I realize these blocks are preventing me from the being a whole person and enjoying my life fully.

I had previously seen the divine in all people after completing a 9-month course in massage therapy in 1998. After returning to the conventional job market, though, I’ve gradually been losing that view. I would like to return to that state of openness and love.

      Lauren,

Thanks for your comment. I specialize in helping individuals and groups have an experience of themselves as whole, completely interconnected with the Divine, everyone, and all things. It is from that whole awareness that all healing is possible. Think of it as working from the inside – the formless – (what is real) first – and then what is outside starts reflecting back something different (since it’s just reflecting what’s going on inside anyway).

If you haven’t already received your free download of my Divine Connecting Breath technique – I’d recommend you do that first. This technique is the foundation for everything I do in my practice. You can get your free copy here: http://www.MyHighestSelf.com.

Next – utilize this technique twice a day (say when you’re brushing your teeth in the morning and at night) for a week or two – and observe what changes inside – and out.

Finally, touch base with me (of course feel free to touch base at any point – my email is below) and I can help you evaluate what if any further support might be appropriate from me.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your comment. You’re going to be able to return to a state of openness and love, soon.

      Peace,

      Ken
