A Higher Power?

I was having an interesting conversation with my sweetheart the other night.  A question of perception came up: What is the common perception about my beliefs?  Do most people think I believe in a higher power?  It came as a shock to me that she thought the answer was no.  I wonder if the reasons for this perception are my lack of clarity about this when I’m talking with other people – or a common mis-understanding about what I do and who I am?   Just in case, let me set the record straight: I believe with every fiber of my being that there is a higher power.  I believe in God.

I believe that God works through me when I do energy work - spiritual healing.  I trust that process so completely that I don’t try to understand or direct it specifically per se.  As I tell people when I’m teaching them Divine Connecting Breath: “The intelligence is in the light - in God flowing through you.  You may have an awareness of what is changing.  I may as well.  But we are not the cause of that change.”  That Divine energy flows through everything and everyone.  God is everywhere.

I am an amplified conduit for that energy.  And I believe that each individual is their own best conduit for that energy once they learn how to access and utilize it.  I teach people how to be aware of this energy.  To learn how to pay attention to the signs that come from that energy, and how to utilize it for their own spiritual healing and for good in the world.  Acquiring these this awareness and these skills will change your life.  Can you imagine what your life would be like if you understood how to utilize these resources – that are available to everyone – for your own good, and the good of the world?

Do you have any questions or comments?  I’d love to hear from you – either as a comment on this blog – or via email.

Thanks for reading!

Ken

I used to be a Christian Scientist and it seems like you approach healing in a similar way. A lot of people, when hearing about healing without medicine, think human mind of matter. Christian Science teaches Mind over matter, where Mind is a synonym for God.

      Thanks for your comments!

I would differentiate mind from God. My experience is of coming into tune with God on a spiritual level – which leads to a mind tuning – and body tuning – and utlimately a life tuning.

      Perhaps it’s all symantics. :)

      Peace,

      Ken
